LPoint Productions Logo

I have recently become a part of LPoint Productions LLC, a company that does video production for clientele ranging from bands, to sports teams, to corporations, to weddings. At this point, we dont really have an identity, so I am working on coming up with one. This is our first step: a logo.

We still may revise this, so please comment!

I like the orange circle with the orange i. The circle thing is a really good shape. The only thing I don't care for is the way the L fits with "point". It seems to stick really far out. I was thinking maybe if the whole name was shifted to the left a little bit (over the circle more) that might help, but then you lose the shape too. I don't know, but that was my first impression. I'll let you know if I think of anything.

This is the inspiration for the circle thing. This rock is at the end of the Laie Point, where I live, and where the company name comes from. you can see the smaller rock within the large rock's hole. The separation needs to be there because the logo is significant in that it is inspired by a real thing. I made it with a video intro in mind, transitioning from the actual rock to the logo.

The L was a struggle, in fact we revised that several times. We definately dont want to lose the shape, like you mentioned. You should have seen some of the early drafts! You would have really laughed at the L in those!
